First, let’s define scrapbooking.
Scrapbooking is the act of preserving memories. It may be a simple as adding a name and date to a photograph or a very elaborate 12x12 layout. In traditional scrapbooking this typically involves using a book with blank pages and, at the very least, adding photos and hand written journaling to the pages.
Of course, the creative use of embellishment elements and how you choose to display your layouts is a big part of traditional scrapbooking. Great to look at but difficult to share with family and friends who live miles away.
Technology is all around us so it only seems natural that scrappers have gone digital! Digital scrapbooking, sometimes referred to as digi-scrapping or computer scrapbooking, is just a new twist to traditional scrapbooking. Digital scrapbooking uses your computer and photo editing software programs to create sensational layouts.
